Another Fall Waverly Horse Sale is in the books, and we’d like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success!
From consignors and buyers to spectators, vendors, and our hardworking staff, it was great to see so many familiar faces plus plenty of new ones join us in Waverly for another memorable sale.
The event kicked off on Wednesday with horse-drawn equipment, antiques, collectibles, tack, and miscellaneous consignments. Over the course of 13 hours, nearly 2,800 lots were sold across four auction rings, creating a busy and exciting start to the week.
The momentum carried into the horse sale on Thursday and Friday, where more than 670 quality horses found new homes. Buyers from across the United States and Canada gathered in Waverly and online to bid on a wide selection of draft horses, draft crosses, riding horses, driving horses, ponies, and more.

- Top-selling horse: $31,500
- Top 10 horses averaged: $24,100
- Top-selling team: $21,000 ($10,500 each)
- 45 horses sold for more than $10,000
- Wednesday: Nearly 2,800 lots sold across four auction rings
- Thursday: 327 horses sold
- Friday: 348 horses sold
- More than 2,500 attendees throughout the three-day event
- More than 1,500 registered bidders, both in person and online
The strong turnout and enthusiastic bidding made for an exciting weekend from start to finish. We’re grateful for the continued support of everyone who chooses to buy, sell, and attend the Waverly Horse Sale year after year.
